He paid $420 for his lot. Logan Hassenbush bought the second lot.
He paid $300 for it. The cheapest price paid for a lot was $35.

This lot was across from the Land Office. It was a good investment.

their lots. L. T. Covey bought a lot for $1,100. |

He sold the lot in November to C. W. Peters.
Peters paid Covey $2,100 for the lot. Covey made a profit of $1,000 on
this lot.
Then Peters sold the lot the next year.
He sold it for $2,520 to J. W. Martin. Peters made a profit of $420.
In 1903, Martin sold the lot for $7,500. He made a profit of $4,800.
