J. W. Brazelton bought the first home site.  He paid $420 for his lot.  Logan Hassenbush bought the second lot.  He paid $300 for it.  The cheapest price paid for a lot was $35.

George Hudson shelled out $3,545 for a lot at Third Street and D Avenue.  This lot was across from the Land Office.  It was a good investment.

Some people made money by buying and selling their lots.  L. T. Covey bought a lot for $1,100.
